About Us
Born From a Mother's Dream
It all began in 2015 with the birth of our founder's son, Ali Boğa. As a mother, her wish to build a natural, healthy and development-supporting world for her child grew into a passion for educational wooden toys and developmental children's furniture.
In 2017 she completed her MBA at Istanbul Bilgi University with a thesis on "The Global Toy Sector and the Role of Wooden Toys in Child Development." After studying international literature and working with child development experts around the world, she founded Wood&Joy in 2018.
Today, at our production facility established in Adana in 2021, we craft a collection of more than 300 educational wooden toys and developmental children's & kindergarten furniture. Our products reach families through 14 e-commerce stores and are trusted by kindergartens, nurseries, private schools, pediatricians and clinical psychologists.
Play is not merely an activity; it creates developmental spaces that contribute to a child's physical, cognitive, emotional and social growth.
